My name is Beverly and I’m a Christian.
I sound like I’m getting ready for group therapy, which is at times what this blog turns out to be for me.
Let me begin with the confessions – I am not an expert on anything. I do not have scripture memorized nor do I intend to begin memorizing it anytime soon. I do not regularly quote other blogs to create arguments. I do not regularly quote passages from books to create discussions. I do not speak with any authority on anything and I have been known to be wrong. I am not saintely or without fault. I am not always humble, meek, or devout. I sometimes act like I know everything when I truly know nothing.
Trying to figure out why you’re still reading?
I know blogs are a dime-a-dozen and this is my two cents worth, which basically means I’m overcharging you. Mostly this blog is a learning experience for me that I hope others will share. I welcome all comments and if anyone would like to add posts, all they need to do is ask. This blog is about learning how to be forgiven, screwing that up, and learning how to be forgiven for that, too.
Now, for the boring stuff – who I am. I am a local church youth director, contemporary worship leader, performance ministry leader, single mother of three, aspiring writer, and self-confessed procrastinator.
Welcome to Perpetual Expressions…

I love your blog! From the few posts I read, I think you would (maybe) enjoy checking out my blog. I can identify with a lot of the things you have said in your posts. And would love to hear your comments on some of my posts. I’m a blogger in progress, as I am also a work in progress…
Hello! Good Site! Thank you! kmumxoovte
Ok, I guess I didn’t know enough, when I posted that comment to your latest post (July 9, 2007) I just naturally assumed that you were a pastor of some sort, not necessarily that you actually were in the arts.
Now I know 200% that you can do it. I was only 100% sure before.
I wish that your Christians In Action group was closer to CA. I would love to practice or just watch you in action. I am an alto in our church’s performance choir and an actor on our drama team as well. I love being on stage, and it just so happens that I love doing it in a way that glorifies the Lord even more. Blessings to you, Beverly.
LOL Quite alright, Shalene. Yes, I’ve been known to shake my God think on occasion
I’m excited to hear you’re in performance ministry, too. I would LOVE to see your drama team in action or hear you sing. How’s this for a deal, consider your drama team has an open invitation to perform in FL and I’ll let everyone know we have have an open invitation to perform in CA if we ever get that way.
Well, I’m sure that that would be ok, though I’m not high enough on the church totem pole to guarantee it.
I’m just a lowly perfomer. Though if you ever get out this way in CA, I’ll be sure to spread the word and squeak until the wheel gets some oil, so to speak. And if I EVER get to FL, you can be sure I’ll look you up.
Thanks for referring to my blog, Learning Life’s Lessons, last month! I appreciate you stopping by, and have enjoyed perusing your posts. Sorry I didn’t see your reference earlier. If you ever stop by again, feel free to say hi!
