Where am I?
Aug 26th, 2007 by Beverly
I know, I have faded into the woodworkings of my blog. I know there are some who come and check on me regularly to see if I’ve come out of my shell yet, so I felt the need to pop in and type “hi”.
Hi!
I will probably be an absentee blogger for a bit longer and I ask for your patience. You see when I feel like I’m don’t have enough on my plate, I like to turn the plate over and start filling up the backside. So, now I’m standing here ankle-deep in food and staring at the bottom of my plate. In other words…
I didn’t feel like I had enough to occupy my time, so I came up with the idea to host an in-church retreat for our congregation. A time to renew our connection to each other and to God and refocus on the vision He has for us as a church. It will require lots of writing, decorating, directing, and hair-pulling. The retreat is set for Sept. 8th so you probably will not see me much between now and then.
However, I must share my excitement, too. I have the wonderful opportunity to attend a contemporary Christian concert this Friday, Aug 31st and I am VERY excited. I’m going with a group from church and I’m looking forward to being renewed and blessed by what God displays to us. I will probably stop by and share any thoughts I have from the concerts with you next weekend.
Until then, may God bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you. Amen.

Hi Bev! Glad to see you’re doing well! We’ve missed you, but figured you must have had a lot to do, just as we did, getting kids ready for school and such. Have fun with your retreat! I’ll come back and check on you soon. Love and blessings to you MASS!
Great going Bev. Hope to hear from you soon enough though. You are missed!
The retreat sounds cool even though it’s a lot of work. I know you’ll do a bang-up job with it, even if you won’t admit it yourself
So who’s the concert?
*hugs* Shalene, I am doing good aside from going mildly insane. LOL I have more to do than time to do them in, but as I read recently “It takes no faith to do what you know you can do.” (Dale Galloway, 20/20 Vision) So, consider me stepping out in faith. I did receive your proposal and I think I’m interested, but I’ll need to wait until after Sept 8 to know for sure. You and Hannah are in my prayers daily, though.
John, thank you.
It’s just a little quieter without me talking all the time. LOL
Jeff, thank you for the confidence. I have decided that Sept. 8th the retreat will occur… regardless of whether it is exactly as I envisioned it. I think I’ll let God steer this boat.
As for the concert… I see the moon…. That’s all I’m singing, but I think you know the tune.
Hi Bev,
All in His Good Time.
Blessings to you MASS. **hugs**
No hurry about that proposal. We’ve kind of stepped back from it as well, just to see where the Lord leads us. Anyway, I’ll keep in touch. Hope the retreat goes well, and I’ll continue to pray for you and it. Pray for me as well, as I am taking a trip to Oregon that same weekend. I was supposed to marry a friend of mine and her fiance, but they’ve decided to wait until November. No matter, I’ll still do it when November rolls around.
We Miss you Bev!!! Come back soon, ok?? Your retreat is over now, so we can’t wait to hear about it. **hugs you** Your MASS sister.
