Perpetual Expressions

I have promised a very dear friend that I would post today. No, this is not a flimsy excuse for that post, but simply a quick note to let her and others know that a real post is coming… I just need to take care of something else first. I’ve been avoiding.

I’m a shy person, an introvert. I’m not comfortable with public speaking and the spotlight. I’m a very private person. Hard to believe, isn’t it? For me sometimes, too, because I defy my own personality on a regular basis. After awhile, however, I feel overwhelmed and muddled. The consequence of that is that on occasion, I just need to step back for a moment and breathe.

I accept the task of giving my testimony very seriously, but with a great deal of trepidation. I have spent the past couple of days stepping back, trying to find a safe place to stand and, inadvertently, have forced myself to the edge of the cliff. So, enough of the nonsense. *Takes a step forward* Time to stop running and make a stand on the promises of God.
